Pokemon mystery dungeon fanfic chapter 2: the season of love
A month past after the first rescue mission and the joining of rouge. It was February, usually the time of love. Tails got up and looked out side to check the mail when he found a note made of edible paper (obtained from one of the rescue missions attended in the time between) on the side of the mailbox. It read, “Tails I went out to the tiny woods this morning to do some training. No need to worry about me. Matthew “wonder” Pikachu.” He immediately ate the paper and went to the friend areas. There he found rouge and Matthew sleeping with each other. “I’m not that stupid Matthew” tails muttered to himself as he left to go get his tool box at the base. Right as he got there he saw the peliper that delivered mail to the rescue teams. But this time he was holding one of those “have you seen this pokemon?” ads. “I’ll take that thank you.” He said as he took the letter and put it in the base and grabbed his tool box. He went to town and bought some things for the rescue missions. Along the way he saw several pokemon with each other, usually a girl and a boy. He sighed and went along with his business. He knew for some time that matt and rouge were in love. It started when he first got a note from him saying that he went to train. He went to go see rouge when he saw them asleep together. He never spoke about it to anybody not even to them. He decided to go the wishcash pond and talk with wishcash about what was going on with rouge and matt. When he got there he saw two girl eevee fighting about something. Suddenly one of them yelled “you want me to prove myself? Meet me at thunderwave cave and I’ll show you just who is better!” and stomped off. Tails walked over to the one who stayed, which at this point was crying, and asked her “hey there. What was that fight all about?” “she wants to prove that she is better than me. I keep telling her that it’s worthless but she keeps going on about it,” the eevee said. “well don’t worry about it. Things work themselves out so get over it and enjoy life.” He told her before he went to see wishcash. “do you even know why those two girls were fighting ? it was over a boy. Or more specifically you.” Wishcash told tails. “Typical. We’ve become popular with the pokemon here,” tails said. “So what’s it like being a pokemon instead of a human?” wishcash asked. “I admit It’s hard. I mean I’m trying my best but I never thought it would be so hard to summon up water from out of my mouth! I bet it would be easier if I was a bulbasaur or something like that!” tails exclaimed. He and wishcash spoke for a while before he left. When he got back to the base matt still wasn’t home. Suddenly he heard the sound of the two girl eevee screaming in the direction of thundrwave cave. He rushed over there as fast as he could holding the toolbox right beside him. He got there just as an electbuzz took them inside the cave. He used aqua jet to hit it , making them drop the two eevee. Then he squirted it with water gun just as it was going to use thunder shock, making It shock itself. “COME OVER HERE! Come on let this work!” he said as he flashed he badge at them, making them escape. He then raced for the exit and left for the rescue base where he saw the two eevee apologizing to each other. One of them left and the other stayed. “well that’s a relief. You were right things did work themselves out. So uh……” she struggled to finish what she was saying when tails finished for her. “let me guess: you like me and you want to join the pokemon defenders just to be with me right?” tails asked. “Pretty much that. So will you let me join?” she asked. “Sure! Just tell me your name first.” Tails told her. “my name is flare.” She said. “well then welcome to the pokemon defenders!” tails told flare.
